Microfoam™
Microfoam™ is an innovative antibacterial poly diallyl-dimethylammonium chloride - poly (DADMAC) foam dressing which prevents bacterial penetration and inhibits their growth within wound dressings. It is based on cutting edge patented non-leaching antimicrobial NIMBUS® Technology from Quick-Med Technologies, USA. NIMBUS Technology involves non-toxic, long chain polymers with high charge density that provide superior efficacy via a physical action on microbes.
Microfoam™ is effective against broad spectrum of pathogens including Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) and Vancomycin-resistant Enterococcus (VRE) and prevents development of microbial resistance. With an ability to absorb exudates 20 times of its weight, high porosity allowing evaporation, unique property of preventing cross-contamination, ease application and removal benefits, and longer stability on wound area, Microfoam™ stands out as a highly effective antibacterial foam dressing.
Microgauze™
Microgauze™, an antibacterial poly DADMAC barrier dressing gauze, with their patented active component and patented method of fabrication, are designed specifically for prevention of wound infection. They are based on cutting edge, non-leaching antimicrobial patented NIMBUS technology from Quick-Med Technologies, Inc., USA.
Microgauze™ reduces hospital acquired infections, reduces frequency of dressing change, provides a highly effective antimicrobial function, promotes healthy granulation by functioning dually as antimicrobial dressing and supporting dressing.
