Viridis BioPharma is a multifaceted company that was incorporated in 2000. Beginning with Ferrazone®, the advanced iron supplement developed by Akzo Nobel, we have made a name for ourselves as marketers of innovative active ingredients in India.
In 2005, we moved into manufacturing, and now make in-licensed products for the Indian market and selected global market. The award winning patented SilverSol® Technology (licensed from American Biotech Labs (ABL), USA) and NIMBUS® Technology, (licensed from Quick-Med Technologies, Inc., USA) are few of the platform technologies our manufactured products are based upon.
We also market and supply a wide range of functional food ingredients in India through our global representations of reputed manufacturers.
Our headquarter is in Mumbai and manufacturing unit is located close to Mumbai in the state Maharashtra, India.

2000
Viridis BioPharma incorporated in 2000.
2002
Introduces first active pharma ingredient from Akzo Nobel, Netherlands, for iron deficiency anemia, to the Indian market.
2007
Establishes factory, licensed by the Industrial Safety & Health Directorate, to manufacture products to heal burns and wounds at Wada, India.
2009
Viridis BioPharma facility receives ISO 13485 and ISO 9001 certificates from Underwriter Laboratory (UL) - DQS.
Licensing agreement with American Biotech Labs (ABL), USA, to manufacture silver products with ABL's proprietary SilverSol Technology.
Manufacture and supply agreement with Dr. Reddy Laboratories for the supply of amorphous hydrogel wound dressing with colloidal silver (using ABL SilverSol® Technology) under their brand name Hydroheal AM gel.
2010
Licensing agreement with Quick-Med Technologies, USA, for manufacture and sale of their proprietary NIMBUS® technology for wound management in India.
2011
Agreement with Aristo Pharmaceuticals for the supply of amorphous hydrogel wound dressing with colloidal silver (using ABL SilverSol® Technology) under their brand name Megaheal.
Supply and distribution agreement with Unigen, USA for sale of Univestin in India.
Viridis is recognized as an R&D unit by the Government of India Department of Scientific and Industrial Research (DSIR).
2015
Supply and distribution agreement with Genosa, Spain for sale of Hytolive in India.
2017
Supply and distribution agreement with AlgaeCal, Canada for sale of AlgaeCal in India.
Manufacture and supply agreement with Sun Pharma for the supply of amorphous hydrogel wound dressing with colloidal silver (using ABL SilverSol® Technology) under their brand name Silverex Heal Gel.
2018
Commercial launch of SilverSol Wound Wash (using ABL SilverSol® Technology) with Aristo Pharmaceuticals under the brand name Megaheal spray and with Dr. Reddy Laboratories under the brand name Hydroheal Silwash.
Export of in-licensed products manufactured by Viridis to Russia and Indonesia.
